Please share your comments about your experience : Worst experiance in 4 years of work camping. Beware listed as a full hook up with wifi in return for three 8 hour days. The water is non potable and you have to cary all your water for drinking, (which is alot at 5000 feet desert climate) from the main building to the site. The electrical is a 50 amp plug with a 30 amp breaker, I didnt have an issue but not to code at all, there is no breaker on the box. The Wifi is inside the metal building and is to week for anything unless you go inside. Constantly stuck behind the desk selling crap out of the gift shop, not at all as described. Always wanted more time for other things, but wouldnt replace me at the desk. Was left alone for a large tour group, and on sereral occasions didnt get lunch until really late in the day once was 2pm. The executive director and his Assistant are the only full time employees and they wont spend money on anything. The place seems nice and has hiking trails but it is really a scam. There is no reshearch but they get donations like something is going on there. They talked me into making walking sticks for them to sell, but not once offered me anything in return. It was like it was expected. The road to the Maintenance building where the rv site is, is terrible with lots of big rocks, its also behind a locked gate. The area is high fenced so your view is like a prison yard(not that i know)
No cement pad just old asphalt gravel and weeds. Just run when you see their ad, there a three other places in the area that use hosts if you want or need to be in the area. They also fly the American flag and leave it up at night without a light, I complained and took it down several times, but they could careless. I departed 3 weeks early to move to another location 4 miles away that they knew about, i told them i had packages coming and they refused my amazon and REI packages so they were returned, all out of spite. Very selfish people that don't care about anything but there own agenda.
