Please share your comments about your experience : Hard, hot work in the summertime for maintenance, but a fun, busy park. Staff treated well for the most part. Very busy on the weekends with campers and day use people coming to tube the river and party. At times a bit chaotic but had a great team that worked well together.

Please share your comments about your experience : CHAOS!!!!! The office manager was micro managed by the Head Management which in turn did not allow her to do her job efficiently. The office could get crazy at times due to rules being changed often or special rules for "Billy Bob down the street". It was highly unorganized. The maintenance supervisor was very unprofessional in all respects. There was no structure at this place at all. Nobody seems to know what the other is doing. The Head Management needs to be replaced in my opinion, I feel bad for the office manager because she is great but is unable to do her job due to micro managing. The owners of this park need to know that the people they have "overseeing" this establishment are running it in the ground, on both aspects.. the customer service and the upkeep. Its a shame, It could be great with the right manager.

Please share your comments about your experience : Please be advised...AVOID THIS PLACE! You are not desperate enough to work here! The owners are nice but not really that involved. They leave it to the manager. Her and her entourage are a bunch of lying, cold, hypocritical snobs. I am not name calling. These are true statements that can be backed up with facts. I was a very honest hardworking winter season "volunteer". The harder i tried to please, the worse it got. The manager does pick favourites and pits work campers against each other. There are rumor mills galore and lazy people who shirk their work. The full hookups they promise you sort of work... The septic can't handle the load so it backs up frequently and there is the sewer stench always in the air. The electrical boxes need a wiring upgrade. The power goes out frequently and surges because it can't handle it's load either. Dangerous! Forget wifi... it's non existent to the point that they had to close down the office because they couldn't process credit cards and such. The free laundry is a joke too. They have 2 washers and 2 dryers for the whole campground... and they didn't clean a stitch of clothing I put in them I took it all to town. They made good workers leave without getting all the facts and kept the dishonest ones. This place is dirty and cuts corners whenever they can. They back up everything they say and do under supposed Christian beliefs and attitudes, but it is all hypocrisy don't believe it for a minute. The park is old, falling apart, in need of rehab and upgrades. Such a shame I had to write this to warn people away but please, you will be able to find a much better situation than Leisure Resort.

Please share your comments about your experience : Beware camp workers, this park's management is very poor. The office is chaos and the outside manager does not tell them what to do and he rides around in a golf cart not working at all. They show partiality and are not fair.

Please share your comments about your experience : the most toxic work place and environment l have ever encountered in my life and worst experience by far in our 3 years of workamping. The resort is family owned who are lovely but are purposefully kept in the dark by the resort manager. ( here's your first clue ) If you like being yelled at, passive aggressive insults hurled your way or played off between other workampers and are desperate for a place to stay in this region go for it.. If you like being treated like a human being and appreciated DO NOT APPLY TO WORK HERE. The manager is disorganised, and l highly suspect dishonest. She changes the rules at whim and even has different rules for different staff members. She talks about all of the workers behind their backs, so you know shes doing it to you too....RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN....there's a whole world of positions out there. Unless this manager leaves l wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Please share your comments about your experience : So far after 8 months of our one year contract we really like it here. WiFi sucks but we have our own hotspot. Our owners are really fair and the General Manager , Sheila is awesome. During the summer everyone is paid and during the winter everyone is volunteer. Summers are NUTS!
