Please share your comments about your experience : We worked for Moose Hillock in NY Summer 2017. It is a wonderful location to spend the summer. They worked with us on our schedule, so we could workcamp while having a 6 year old. They are strict on their rules which I can see some people not liking or write bad reviews about. I think it makes for a well ran business. They are very family oriented, caring people that have a beautiful RV Resort. We enjoyed our workcamping experience.

Did you receive any special benefits or perks while workamping? : We were able to swim all summer long in their wonderful pool with water slides, got a raise half way through, and received our end of year bonus right away. They also let us stay on our site longer because of us having car issues.

Please share your comments about your experience : I worked as everything under the sun the summer my family and I were there. I was 17 at the time and it was my first full-time job. The staff were all friendly and Ed Sr. And Ed Jr. Were amazing!

Did you receive any special benefits or perks while workamping? : Our site was free for rent, we only had to pay for utilities. AND we earned wages. Theres a sense of family between the owners and workampers. My family and I loved it.

Please share your comments about your experience : Worked two days and were let go after coming all the way up from Florida. The reason they gave was my wife wasn't fast enough on the computers and phones. This was with one day of training. I cannot say anything different than the other review. The campground owners are young and seem to think they are running a boot camp. We are very capable individuals who managed a bed and breakfast so our knowledge and skills certainly don't warrant such results.

Please share your comments about your experience : This is NOT the place to work. They have very high turnover rates. The managers are young, new and have no idea what they are doing. Hours vary 30-35 when slow and 40 plus when busy. They do not pay overtime, they do not treat their employees fairly. A guy lost his bonus(2k) for eating a small chicken tender that we wouldn't serve to customers in the cafe. Money hungry owners that do not care. Electric was told 60-80 and we were paying 140 plus. They moved us to a parking lot without informing anyone and had no reasoning besides we said fhu not fhu in the actual park. Run don't walk away. Worst scheduling ever! I can go on and on
