Please share your comments about your experience : We volunteered at this state park from Oct 2019 - Jan 2020, there is only one host site. The park has 55 camp sites and 5 primitive sites, our duties were to clean and prep sites for guest arrival. We performed daily site checks for the office. Bathrooms and cabins were cleaned by staff, we monitored the restrooms during busy times and replaced toilet tissue if necessary. They have a laundry onsite ($30.00 stipend is included and more if needed for laundry) and wifi (gets slow during busy times) The closest Walmart/grocery store is 45 minutes away. We have ATT service and it was okay in the park, we could stream movies. The staff in the park are outstanding to work with, they made us feel like we were part of their work family. We worked 24 hours a week for full hookups and they provided John Deere cart for transportation in park. The gate is an automatic gate and is closed every night. We would go back here in the future.
