Please share your comments about your experience : This "COULD" be a great park if they didn't have the Managers of Tom & Kay. They seem to change rules daily and also from when we did phone interview for job!! We know this park is owned by someone else and not quite sure if he knows all that goes on here or maybe Tom & Kay don't report anything bad going on? We also heard of 3 sets of work campers that all pulled out recently in a weeks span. This is one takes the cake, As they don't allow their work campers to socialize at one's site after working hours, what the hell kind of establishment is this??? No smoking, chewing or drinking on grounds or at your site. I would suggest for anyone considering working here make sure you do your home work and find out who is managing the park and the who the park owner is so if you have problems then you can let park owner know and just maybe something will get done with these managers of Tom & Kay. Always 2 sides to every story. Tom and Kay will watch you like a hawk!! Camping & working should be fun, not MISERABLE!!!

Please share your comments about your experience : Easy work. Women would work in office and do cleaning of restrooms, laundry, along with cabins. The men worked outside and did escorting of guests. We were hired and only worked here for a month Apr.-May 2020. Now for the negative: they have main managers named Tom & Kay Vail along with assistant managers name Robin & Kirby. The owner of this park lives in Denver, CO named Mr. Bill Barber and has Tom & Kay managing the park. It would be nice if Mr. Barber could really see what goes on his park. In the past there has been a lot negative reviews on this park due to Tom & Kay. Tom is retired marine and makes his own rules for this park. Kinda feels like it is a military park. Tom's rule he does NOT allow any campers to check in on Sundays which is a money loss for park as the route 550 out front is a well traveled road and just maybe some camper might look for an overnight stay. Tom & Kay have asked Robin & Kirby to take over as Managers and do training of new work campers. Tom has already begun to let Kirby do this ,but yet Kay has not done this with Robin. I see the problem of a lot of bad communication between mangers and confusion. Top manager Kay should not complain or gripe of her assistant manager Robing in front of new work campers as that should be done privately. Also when the owner of parks calls in you DON'T address him as "Hello Crabby" in front of new work campers also. This is not professional. The manager Kay took a tone with me on my third day of working with her in the office. I am adult, not a child. Kay is also a very nosey person as she would question assistant manger Robin of where my husband and I are going every day. Tom & Kay live in a park model at entry way of park. Kay sits there in the window constantly watching everything along with listening to cb radios constantly, kinda makes me think of Mrs. Bates from Physco movie. The (assistant managers) want to do to nice things and events for this park to get it out from the past negative reviews from guests, but will get shot down from Tom & Kay. This park will be AMAZING some day once the old managers of Tom & Kay are gone. Another tip I will make, when you do your phone interview for a work camp position be sure to take really good notes or have it recorded so when you decide to show up you don't have any surprises after arriving there.
