Did you receive Wages or Stipend ?: Yes

Please share your comments about your experience : The work was never over taxing. We had a wildfire near the Campground while working there and had to evacuate along with all others for 10 days. The caretakers were tireless in their efforts during this time. Unfortunately, there is an unsavory element among the site owners endangering workers and other owners. Be warned that this can be a hostile work environment with little to no support from the board. All sites in this Campground are privately owned and has an HOA but all sites are packed together. Weapons have been seen often and intimidating actions taken by some owners toward other owners and work campers. It appears this has been a problem for years. Would not recommend this Campground to any work campers that are looking for a pleasant work environment. We were threatened on several occasions, nearly run down on the roads and insulted more times than I can count.

Did you receive any special benefits or perks while workamping? : The caretakers, the Facilities board member, and many of the site owners were delightful. Other work campers and the caretakers were a pleasure to work with.
